Amazon should not charge for this item. First of all, it is not a book; it's a 27-page pamphlet for people who have never held a camera before and refuse to read the manual. It contains almost no usable information. Plus, nobody even bothered to proofread it. As short as it is, the thing contains glaring grammatical mistakes such as substituting "your" for "you're". Beware.
Not what I expected. This book literally taught me nothing, and I could have learned the content by reading my user manual for a few minutes. I read the entire book (literally) in 5 minutes. Disappointed.
I liked the fact that the information was easy to understand and straight to the point. This is a great place to start if you want to take pictures.
A short and simple guide to photography -beyond point and shoot. This book is free so save your money and give this one a try.
I really should have read the description more carefully so I am partly to blame. The information was so basic my 10 year old was actually insulted. We went to Barnes and Noble and found a very detailed book providing her with a lot of information that was more useful.
This was helpful in explaining and showing with the pictures in the book the easier way to take good photos and use a camera. Also very easy to refer back to. Especially if you're a beginner.
I wish when I bought my camera I had a book like this. It was easy to to follow and understand. The pictures were very helpful too. I would even recommend it for my grand kids.
The writing style was easy to read. The information covered more than I thought it would. I would recommend it.
