Written in straight talk that any person can understand. I read it in less than 2 hours.. and was then able to make informed decisions about what to pay, when, and how. Reading this was like having a conversation with someone who has your best interests in mind. The cost of the book is well worth it. Was like getting advice from a lawyer, without the lawyer fees. Even better, really, because it's all still here... I don't have to worry about forgetting anything or overlooking something. I can just refer to this book again. With so many books out there, it's hard to decide which is best. I chose this one because I appreciated the no-nonsense title, and liked that it's written by a lawyer. So glad I did. I feel relieved about my debt and empowered by the knowledge I've gained here.
Mr. Crump provides a straight-to-the-point explanation of debt and how to handle debt according to the law. One of the main points I grasped from this book is that by allowing yourself to look at your situation as non-emotionally as possible, you will see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you Mr. Crump for writing this book.
If you are in over your head and want to put your self in position to get your head abovewater financially and stay there, this is a great book. I loved how it is written by a lawyer but in downto earth plain English, taking the side of us, the people, not the bank, as is usually the caseeven when they are paid to be on our side.
I was attracted to the title because i was being plagued with calls from bill collectors. It was very insightful and allowed me to not live a fear based life because of debt. Fear seems to be the bill collectors main weapon when trying to collect. Once you are armed with this knowledge you can have peace of mind and not fall prey to the lies they threaten you with....
Good advice. We can do more than what we think we can.
Love the Book!!! The book has a lot of information in it. If your being mistreated, sued, or/andjust plain out harassed by a creditor, this book is for you. I was frightened by what they(the creditors)might be ableto do. F*The Banks put my mind at ease. So, if you want to truly know your rights read the book and F* The Banks.You will sleep better at night.
In this very well written book, Mr Crump takes the reader for a walk across the landscape of consumer debt. He discusses the major problems and possible solutions with candor and insight. As the title clearly says, it is all meat, no froth.
Still feel overwhelmed by my debt but he does answer questions people who have no clue need to know. If you want a straightforward approach appropriate for you.
