"Battleship Indomitable" is a fitting sequel to the first book in the Liberation series, and there are some parts that are as good as anything you can find in the space opera genre. Straker is an enhanced mech suiter who is most interesting when he is in his battle gear being awesome. Much of the time, however, he is being the head of a rolling war of conquest/liberation aimed initially at the Mutuality empire. He is greatly aided by a uniquely designed, enormous battleship that his allies, the octopoid Ruxin, are able to put into fighting shape. Unfortunately, the book is a little bloated and the large cast of characters occasionally gets lost (see Loco and the concubine). I can understand that it must be hard for co-authors to agree to drop one author's idea, but there is probably 100 pages or so that could have been trimmed without doing real damage. Still, the series is a good one so far, and I am waiting for the next volume.

Having read and enjoyed the two books in this series fast availability of the next book is desired.In book 2, the In dominator becomes very key to freeing people (human and other species) from thousands of worlds. The goal is to give each planet or solar system the opportunity for personal freedoms, safety and self-control.There ate many battles along the way. The Liberator has a best friends from childhood working beside him. The personal relationships are complex and needed.Technology is incorporated in many creative and fascinating ways. Some are fanciful dreams. Others will be great innovations making life easier in !any ways, when there are scientific breakthroughs. Amazing what the human MIMD can fathom then seek ways to implement. Those who have been reading science fiction for several decades can be amazed by things previously dreamed but now a normal part of life, as well as the new possible ties made possible by advancements in theory.The characters are diverse, interesting and keep a good story line. The battles are many and bases on earth's past. The aliens are creative and evolving as much as the humans. Some will enjoy references to history.Therefore it is easy to recommend his time to anyone trading this.

First off let me say that I love a lot of BVLs other works. They are fun, witty, exciting, just the opposite of this series. Maybe its the pair of authors working together that just have no chemistry anymore. Battles are even boring with long winded speeches throughout that kill the flow of the story. Straker is going to do this because of that and hope this happens and so on throughout the whole book. I highly suggest picking another pure B.V. Larson series to read instead of this such as Rebel Fleet, Undying Mercenaries, Star Force (written with David but so much better).

It was ok it was Predictable at least to me as Well as some very bad judgment calls by one of Characters that I feel will play out in the next Book's also Disappointed that one of the Characters won't push their decision-making. The ending was a mild surprise. It's Not a bad read but if you've read some of Mr. Larson's work it feels Very Familiar but I'm Optimistic for the next in the Series.

Man sets out to liberate worlds - almost thinks he is the messiah - just call him the "Liberator" - feels that he will never be defeated in battle and if that was not enough, almost every word his sidekick utters is about SEX.I got to page 176 out of 443 pages and I couldn't stand reading anymore. End of reading this series for me.I do not recommend this book.

This is a different kind of story!!! I love it and it only gets better when you read it a second time. Do yourself a favor and add the Audible narration and hear this too!!! It's worth it to support BVL and DV to create great reads like this. Don't forget to put up some stars and review to show your support!!!

A very good read. If you haven't read the first book in the series, you'll need to do that first. That said, the book keeps your attention, and the story line is easy to follow. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series and hope the series continues for a longtime.
